Book fans may have dropped hints about Young Ian's lovable half wolf pet but TV fans are in for a treat if he's anything like he is in the book. Rollo is fiercely loyal and truly loves Young Ian. The two become the best of friends. Check out the new first look images...
Finally Starz has given us the first full trailer for Season 4. And it is sooo good.
I don't know about you but periodically my mind wanders back to the Outlander season three finale and I wonder: Why didn't they tells us who survived the shipwreck? So I thought I'd pose some questions I know I'd like addressed or have possibly been address on Twitter.
1. Did everyone survive the shipwreck?
Jamie and Claire washed up on shore alive only to be found by a couple who tell them they are in the Colonies. But when last Claire came up from below deck of the Artemis; Young Ian, Fergus, Marsali and the rest of the crew were on board. So did these people survive? Did you rescue Young Ian only to let him die at sea? Are Fergus and Marsali going to be able to build a life together?
I'm thinking they are fine because the Fraser's do have amazing luck and it would seem really wrong to build up some of these characters, bring them all this way only to leave them in season three.
With Jamie and Claire coming to the American Colonies that means Native Americans. So more than 100 First Nation Canadians have gone to Scotland to play a number of speaking roles for the upcoming season (and probably more).

Some people don't like to be spoiled and think images from the show are really going to spoil their beloved show for them which is why everything is behind a cut and has a big cautionary warning. So if you don't want to see images from the upcoming season... click away to something more benign.
The below Season 4 images were shared on Twitter. As you can see there is a dog in at least 2 of the 8 pictures. This is one of the Northern Inuit dogs portraying Rollo.
You can also see what appears to be a smaller water vessel which is likely one of the many boats from the book Drums of Autumn. However, in the last 4 images you can see a cabin and in 2 images there appears to be a fire going. There will be a famous fire in the books but I don't recall it happening this early (and I recall a lot) nor do I remember it being their cabin. So what this is I have no idea. Speculations abound but my fascination is just seeing Season 4 come together.
If you missed the Season 4 sneak peek, you won't find it online. Apparently, Starz doesn't want anyone who doesn't have Starz to see the sneak peek. So let me tell you a bit about it.
Jamie and Claire's carriage is stopped by some Red Coat soldiers wanting to know what is in their wagon. Jamie tells them about the supplies and that there is also a body. The men recognize him from the hanging and tell him to get better friends. All Jamie wants is to give him a proper burial.
The soldiers appear to be looking for someone and they aren't convinced Jamie is telling the truth. To prove the body is just that they stab it with a bayonet while a very tense Jamie and Claire sit up front and Jamie puts his hand on his weapon.
This Sunday, Starz will be having a Season 3 marathon of Outlander. Following the marathon they will be giving us our first preview of Season 4.
Tune in for the show and stay for the preview.
We hope to share this preview with you next week if you do not have Starz.
