May 5 it is for all those interested. This comes after The White Queen and The White Princess. It is strange to me these haven't gotten a over arching name and the season just been the different books. These follow the Tudor book series by Phillipa Gregory as does the movie The Other Boleyn Girl. The Spanish Princess will actually be a combination of the books The Constant Princess and The King's Curse and will tell the story of Catherine of Aragon, Henry VIII's first wife.
If you head over to Amazon you will see they've set the release of all versions of Outlander season 4 for May 28, 2019. I haven't seen a formal announcement of this fact but Amazon is usually pretty reliable with their information. Consider this, they are already taking pre-orders which heavily implies this is the actual release date for season 4.

Honestly, I had no idea what this could mean with the story broke that Starz CEO Chris Albrecht would be stepping down. Albrecht is the reason for the programming currently on Starz and one of the first decisions he made was to get into business with Ronald D. Moore and that is how Outlander was born on Starz.
Lionsgate acquired Starz back in 2016. Lionsgate was after a platform for their content which includes The Hunger Game Series, The Twilight Saga, and Orange Is the New Black. From the gist of Outlander Cast's article it seems the decision to oust Albrecht is really about having control over programming. And it seems Lionsgate isn't keen on things they don't own and as we know Sony owns Outlander.
Does this mean we could lose Outlander? Blake over at Outlander Cast is sure we'll get Season 5 since production has started and we might even get Season 6 because it was promised but they might not be interested in giving us additional Outlander if it isn't a show Lionsgate owns.
This is just a very condensed version of the Outlander Cast article and I highly recommend you go over and read it or listen to their podcast episode about this fiasco.
There are a lot of things that can be assumed about the next season of Outlander but here are a few reminders of things that we know we will be seeing. If you aren't at all worried about spoilers there is a box you can click on to get the book related "things we know" but otherwise I recommend show fan stay away from the spoilers.
1. It is likely going to be based on the fifth book of Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series called The Fiery Cross. Of course, we are unsure if we'll get the entire book or part of the book. You may not know this but this is the longest book of the first 5 by nearly 400 pages so it stands to reason we will not be seeing the entire book. Also, the PTBs (powers that be - ie our executive producers) have mentioned it might be easier to break up the books a little. I'm rather keen on this idea as I think it would make things feel less rushed.
2. Both season 5 and 6 will have only 12 episodes each. Season 1 had 16 and 2 through 4 had 13. However, standard season on premium channels tend to be 10 or 12. Outlander has been an exception. Losing an episode does support them taking on portions of book rather than the whole.
Richard Rankin will be showcasing prints from his travels in a new exhibit. The exhibit which is called "His Mind's Eye," will be opening March 27 at the Littlefield Gallery NYC, Brooklyn, NY.
The exhibit will have a interactive element which allows visitors to take photos of themselves to be used in a future collection.
Diana announced Chapter titles from the upcoming ninth book in the Outlander series, Go Tell the Bess That I'm Gone.
SECTION I: A Swarm of Bees in the Carcass of a Lion
CHAPTER 1: The MacKenzies are Here!
CHAPTER 2: A Blue Wine Day
CHAPTER 3: Meditations on a Hyoid
CHAPTER 4: Home is the Hunter, Home from the Hill
CHAPTER 5: Dead or Alive
CHAPTER 6: Visitations
CHAPTER 7: Animal Nursery Tales

It seems weebly has been making changes which have destroyed all design work I've made over the years here at Outlander watch. I begun instituting changes towards the beginning of the week due to these problems but again hit an issue which seems to be weebly not wanting you to be able to customize your site.
They tell me it is my custom coding but when I haven't changed any of their coding besides colors, it seems unlikely. I don't know if this is a move to prevent users who can not pay a lot for all their bells and whistle from trying to have more than a basic site but it grows more frustrating by the hour.
I apologize if you have trouble viewing any part of Outlander Watch. I hope to have things improved over the weekend barring any further attempts to prevent improvements.
TV Fans, if you think about season 4 there are a lot of story lines which were left hanging. Here are just a few story lines PTBs (powers that be, ie writers and producers) need to address early on in season 5.
1. Are Roger and Brianna still married? They hand-fasted which is for a year and a day. Roger was gone the entirety of Brianna's pregnancy and then the wee one was 2 months old, the day before Roger returned. This means Roger and Bree have another month on their hand-fast. Will they marry? I mean we assume right? So do we get another wedding? PLEASE!
2. Roger and Brianna have this little boy now. What is his name? Bree waited for Roger before she gave the baby a name so what will it be? And will it be addressed immediately in the season premiere? I truly hope so because that child needs a name.
Rumor has it Richard Rankin our beloved Roger Wakefield/MacKenize will be at Wizard World. How I wish I could get to Cleveland but alas it is too far. But what about you? Are you going?
