The below Season 4 images were shared on Twitter. As you can see there is a dog in at least 2 of the 8 pictures. This is one of the Northern Inuit dogs portraying Rollo.
You can also see what appears to be a smaller water vessel which is likely one of the many boats from the book Drums of Autumn. However, in the last 4 images you can see a cabin and in 2 images there appears to be a fire going. There will be a famous fire in the books but I don't recall it happening this early (and I recall a lot) nor do I remember it being their cabin. So what this is I have no idea. Speculations abound but my fascination is just seeing Season 4 come together.
Despite there being no official renewal, the producers have already begun the process of developing Season 5. Ron Moore told PaleyFest goers last weekend that the Outlander team has already started planning Season 5 and are deep into pre-production.
This is good news that will go a long way to preventing a very long droughtlander between Seasons 4 & 5 because everyone is positive Outlander will be sticking around for years to come.
That's right it is coming up on 25 years since the release of Voyager. And to celebration the fans are getting this 25th Anniversary edition of Voyager which will include a brand new introduction and bonus material.
Voyager 25th Anniversary edition will be released on October 23, 2018. You can pre-order now from Amazon (see link below).
Outlander stars Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan; executive producers Ronald D. Moore, Maril Davis, Matthew B. Roberts, Toni Graphia; and productions designer Jon Gary Steele were at Starz's Outlander FYC Event in Hollywood, California and discussed their favorite moments from Season 3.
I'm a firm believer that Outlander is going to be renewed for many season to come because Outlander has put Starz on the map when it comes to programming. To top that it has been Starz's highest (or one of them) shows to date.
And to prove Outlander is popular check out the news about the DVD & Blu-ray boxset which was immediately an Amazon bestseller on the day of its release and has stayed on the bestseller list at Amazon.
If that weren't enough as of right now the DVD is #5 on this list and the Blu-Ray is #20 and everything around them in that Top 20 are movies. Not a single other in the Top 20 is a TV show.
So maybe the HUGE popularity Outlander is gaining is the reason Starz and Sony are still trying to negotiate Season 5 terms. Part of me hopes they are arguing for more episodes.
