James Alexander Malcolm Mackenzie Fraser "Jamie" (Sam Heughan)

Claire Elizabeth Beauchamp Randall Fraser (Caitriona Balfe)
We return to Claire’s past, as she transitions back to the life she used to know and the Claire of 1948 has no knowledge of her love’s survival and still mourns his loss. Claire now finds herself again in a new time and an exotic land: 20th century Boston. It is in America, that she gives birth to Jamie’s child, Brianna. She tries to rekindle her marriage with Frank, for the sake of the daughter they are raising together, and Claire embraces education again.
After finding Jamie in history Claire returns to the past only to find a different Jamie who married a woman she loathes. Jamie and Claire set out on an adventure after their nephew is kidnapped.
Brianna Ellen Randall Fraser (Sophie Skelton)
This striking, redheaded young lady is the daughter of Claire and Jamie Fraser. Strong-minded, stubborn, and intelligent beyond her years (traits inherited from both her mother and father), Brianna has a distinctly scholastic mind-set, with a healthy dose of American strength, having been born and raised in Boston under the watchful eye of her ‘father’ historian Frank Randall. Left reeling from the revelations of Season 2, Brianna must now come to terms with the fact that that her father is not the man the thought, but rather a Scotsman… from the 1700’s.
Marsali Jane MacKimmie Fraser (Lauren Lyle)
Marsali and Joan get Jamie to dance with them at Hogmany. Jamie can't help but love the girls as daughters and marries their mother in hopes of having a family. This doesn't work out.
Marsali is the first to walk in and find Jamie with Claire and is upset for her mother. However, Marsali has her own secret which comes out after Jamie and Claire set sail on the Artemis in search of Young Ian. Marsali and Fergus are handfasted and wish to be married. Jamie isn't okay with the idea and knows Laoghaire will hate it because of Fergus's past and his lack of hand.
Marsali is determined to have the man she loves and refuses to be stopped. She even tries to get on Claire's good side but soon realizes Claire isn't going to get in the middle. She sails the seas with all the Fraser's and helps Fergus comes to realize when to deny Jamie.
After Jamie is freed from the brig of the Artemis he gives them his consent to marry. Marsali seeks Claire's advice on birth control and on the beach of Saint Domingue, Marsali and Fergus are married under the name Fraser.
Fergus Claudel Fraser (César Domboy)
The grown-up version of the beloved French pickpocket that Jamie and Claire took under their wing in Season 2. Born into a brothel, Fergus has grown up into a charming, devilishly handsome man with a strong sense of loyalty and decorum, despite his unconventional upbringing. He is the ultimate romantic, wearing his heart on his sleeve and falling in and out of love easily. However, Fergus’s devotion to Jamie never wavers, making the Frenchman an integral part of the Fraser clan. Still, his debonair demeanor masks a longing for a lasting love and a permanent sense of belonging.
Fergus is involved in all of Jamie's illegal businesses though he's keen to do legitimate work as he wishes to provide for a wife.
Fergus brings Marsali aboard the Artemis telling Jamie they are handfasted and wish to be married. Jamie won't give consent. After Claire is kidnapped by the Porpoise, Jamie says he will consent to the marriage if Fergus will get the keys to his cell and free him so they can mutiny. Fergus soon realizes such a plan will put Marsali in danger and refuses.
After Jamie is freed from the brig of the Artemis he gives them his consent to marry. On the beach of Saint Domingue, Marsali and Fergus are married under the name Fraser as Jamie claims Fergus as his son.
Murtagh FitzGibbons Fraser (Duncan LaCroix)
In Season One, Murtagh is the one to rescue Claire from Jack Randall when she first arrives in the 18th century. Murtagh isn't impressed by the Englishwoman but quickly realizes Jamie and Claire are a good match. Murtagh helps Claire break into Wentworth Prison to save Jamie.
In Season Two; Murtagh, the gruff but ever-loyal highlander, travels with Jamie and Claire to France. Murtagh is determined to keep Claire and Jamie safe but fails when Claire tries returning home late. Claire and Mary Hawkins are attacked resulting in Mary being raped. Murtagh does avenge Claire and Mary by killed and cutting off the masterminds head (Sandringham).
In Season Three; Murtagh is in prison with Jamie and is very sick. Jamie gets medical attention for Murtagh with the help of Lord John Grey. When Ardsmuir Prison closes Jamie is taken to Helwater but the rest of the prisoners are transported to the Colonies, including Murtagh.
Ian James FitzGibbons Fraser Murray "Young Ian" (John Bell)
A tall, gangly sixteen-year-old Scottish lad with a heart of gold, a stubborn streak, and a penchant for getting into trouble. Bursting with charm, he’s more like his adventurous, fierce uncle Jamie than his farmer father Ian.
Young Ian keeps running away from how and joining his Uncle in Edinburgh where Jamie is smuggling and printing seditious papers. Young Ian becomes fully immersed in Jamie's life culminating in a fire at the print shop when Young Ian tries to protect Jamie from an exciseman.
After Claire, Jamie and Young Ian return to Lallybroch; the three set off to get treasure promised to Bonnie Prince Charlie which never arrived and Jamie found on Selkie Island after his escape from Ardsmuir. Young Ian swims out to the island but is kidnapped by sailors and taken to Jamaica.
Frank Randall/Jack Randall (Tobias Menzies)
FRANK: Claire's husband is an esteemed Harvard history professor in the 20th century. When Claire returns to the present day, Frank’s loyalty and character is tested in their marriage, with his beloved daughter Brianna serving as a constant reminder of his wife’s passion for another man. As Claire mourns the loss of her one true love, Frank struggles to in their relationship, ultimately choosing to break ties emotionally but not legally. After Brianna's graduation, Frank asks Claire for a divorce and tells her he is moving to England with Brianna. After Frank and Claire fight, Frank storms off only to show up dead at Claire's hospital.
BJR:Jamie and Jack Randall meet on the Culloden Battlefield where Jamie takes a particular interest in killing Randall. Jamie and Black Jack fight until Black Jack takes a fatal wound by Jamie's sword. Later when Jamie wakes on the battlefield, Black Jack Randall's dead body is lying over him.
Roger Jeremiah MacKenzie Wakefield (Richard Rankin)
Roger helps Brianna and Claire search history for Jamie Fraser until the trio hits a dead end causing Claire to give up the search.
Roger decides to fly to Boston to visit Claire and Brianna because he misses Brianna and he never gave up the search for Jamie.
After Brianna convinces her Claire to go back to Jamie, Roger and Bree share a Boston Christmas together.
Lizzie Wemyss (Caitlin O'Ryan)
Lizzie is a Scottish woman who goes on a big adventure with Brianna Fraser.
