THE Scots actor, who plays Dougal MacKenzie in the Starz show, said it was a "dream come true" to be involved in AMC's new Preacher series.
OUTLANDER fans will have seen Graham McTavish make his long-awaited return to their screens in the latest instalment of the time travel series.
And the Scots actor, who plays Dougal MacKenzie in the Starz show, has revealed his involvement in AMC's new Preacher series.
The American show, which is adapted from DC's comic book series, was developed by Evan Goldberg, Seth Rogen and Sam Catlin and first aired on May 22.
McTavish has regularly spoken of his love of the comics and says his role in the show is "a dream come true".
He tweeted: "After months of not being able to tell anyone delighted to announce my involvement in @PreacherAMC. As a fan of the books...a dream come true".
A friend brought this to my attention even though I am in the States. She knew I'd want to share it with all my Outlander buddies.
So far signed up to appear is just Graham MacTavish (Dougal) but I'd love to meet him... if only.
Taking place from 26th to 28th August 2016, at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Heathrow, Starfury: The Highlanders is a three day celebration of Outlander.
